Sandra has had a passion for horses her entire life. Pursuing this passion in horses, she earned her Equine Science degree, traveling to Australia and Ireland, where she continued expanding her knowledge and experience managing foaling hospitals on Equine breeding farms.
Through hard work she earned the opportunity of working with top cutting horse trainers, cattle and sheep ranchers across Australia continuing to broaden experiences and adding knowledge of fulfilling the needs of horses.
Returning to the States in 2000, she has trained in English Equitation, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage as well as continuing her work with Western styles of riding.
As a riding instructor, Sandra's greatest enjoyments are helping students, new and experienced, learn new ways of listening to their horse to better their riding abilities. This allows the horse to also enjoy the experience making for a much better riding team. If you're interested in showing, this is the only way to get you as far as you want to go!
As a horse trainer, Sandra thrives in solving problems! Sometimes it can be hard to understand why your horse isn't doing what you ask, where the bad habits are coming from, solving the miscommunication. From the smallest to most complex issues, Sandra will work through them to create the calm, interactive horse you're striving for.
